We had a kick ass wedding. 152 people, all of whom love us to pieces. We had some wonderfully (drunk) creative coworkers, adorable flower girls and little cousins, amazing food- not to mention I got to marry the love of my life. Our wedding was awesome and we had a great time and I'm so thankful for my parents who made it happen. But while it was fun and great, it wasn't the social gathering that rocked my socks off.
This was:
Sans makeup. You're welcome:
Uh, I don't actually have any pictures of us together, but we had our last family vacation sans AC this year, and it was so much fun. We stayed at a cabin at Balmsam Mountain Preserve and it was gorgeous. They have the BEST crab cakes I've ever had in my life and it was just all around gorgeous. We played Scattergories and Taboo and laughed so hard we cried. It was awesome. I love my family even though they are a little nutty sometimes... okay, alot of the time. It's just me, my mom & dad, and my brother (and now AC), but I wouldn't trade them for the world. It was one of my most favorite block of days the whole year, and even though it wasn't exactly a "party" it was so much more fun than any party I could image. Might make me lame, but it is what it is.

Family time is the best. I'm so looking forward to Christmas again this year, which I get to spend with my fiance's entire fam, plus part of my own. I'm already anticipating family dinners and games of Apples to Apples.. some of my best memories :))
Sounds like an awesome trip. I really need to get back to going on family vacations with my parents. They're so much fun!
Sounds like a lovely trip with the fam!
