(I know this isn't the post some of you were expecting, but the scanner is such a pain in the butt to use! Monday, I promise)
This is my new favorite breakfast: 1/3 cup greek yogurt and a cup of frozen berries. I mix them up before I eat it. It's really gross looking mixed up but it's cool cause the berries end up freezing parts of the yogurt and it's like eating ice cream for breakfast (which, admittedly, I've done on more than one occasion but still). This is unmixed:

The question "what if" has been on my mind a lot this week. Such a dangerous question so I'm trying not to think about it too much, but you can't help but wonder how your life would have turned out differently if you made a few key decisions differently. Don't get me wrong, save the whole "unemployment" thing, I love my life with AC more than anything, but the not knowing how life could have turned out is intriguing. I'm glad we both made choices that led us to be married, but there are things I wonder about. Don't get me started on the whole "not knowing where we're going to be living next August" thing, though... I don't want to think about that.
I had this whole huge post about yesterday's trip to NYC, then I decided it was boring so I deleted it. I can tell you what I did, though: Took AC to the bible art museum, went to Brooklyn for the first time for Paper Source, picked AC up, went to the Container Store (WHEE!!!), Katz's Deli, a beer store that was way too cool for me, then I fell asleep on AC's corduroy jacket, which reminded me of the joke "corduroy jackets: they're making headlines!" I'm punny. Oh! I finally found these:
Verdict: meh. They taste a little bit like medicine, a little bit like they're been in an attic for 50 years but I think the violet is an interesting flavor. I'm still a lavender girl, though, definitely.
Saw an interesting (and good) number on the scale yesterday morning. It wasn't my official weigh in (those are on Monday) but it was definitely lower than what I was expecting. But then I went and ate my weight in pastrami so I'm sure that ruined that. Monday (and drinking lots of water) will tell. Between the uh, sushi I had for breakfast and pastrami, I probably had a weeks worth of sodium yesterday.
Alright, breakfast is over. Everyone have a good day! Use your inside voice while inside and remember to be kind and that everyone is fighting some kind of battle.

Good idea, freezing the berries. I've never tried that with greek yogurt but it sounds yum. My great grandfather used to carry that brand of gum around, but the clove flavor. Makes me gag to think of it. Hooray for good numbers on scales! And pastrami.
Mmm, that looks so good. Have you ever tried blueberries (or raspberries, or peaches) warmed up with graham crackers? It's my favorite healthy dessert. Sooooo delicious.
mmm LOVE greek yogurt with berries :) and I can't WAIT 'til you get the job offer. GOOD VIBES GOOD VIBES. I like this blog entry, I think I might steal this idea and just blog a random entry of thoughts that I think over a meal. ;)
That looks so yummy!! And, good luck with the job!! I'll be thinking about you!
That breakfast looks fantastic - I am looking into stocking those items and eating them for my breakfast!
