Now, correct me if I'm wrong, but mushrooms generally grow in wet, shady areas, right? We keep the terrarium soil pretty dry and the whole thing in pretty decent sunlight since, you know, they're succulents. Kind of desert-y and whatnot.

What the heck is going on here?
(This was taken last night under a lamp)
Any mushroom hobbyists? Experts? I spent my time in AP biology writing notes to my friends so mushrooms aren't really my thing.

I don't know anything about mushrooms, but that one is so cute in the terrarium. It goes perfectly!
Nah, those suckers grow all over the place. I used to love mushrooms when I was a kid & wild mushrooms used to grow in the middle of our yard (in full sunlight) - I ate one once when I was like 3 & my Mom didn't know if it was edible so she gave me ipecac - apparently I refused to eat another mushroom for like 10yrs. LOL
That is absolutely crazy that a tiny mushroom infiltrated your terrarium. (That said, it's a very nice terrarium. I'm thinking about making/building/preparing one myself.)
